The Yas Marina post-season GP2 test sees an all new driver line-up in the Status GP2 cars.
19-year-old Indonesian Philo Armand joins the team for all three days of the test hoping to get to grips with the GP2 car after competing in Formula Renault 3.5 this season.
Alongside Philo on day one is reigning FIA European Formula 3 Champion and 2015 Macau Grand Prix winner, Felix Rosenqvist. Felix is no stranger to the team following his Macau success earlier this month with Teddy Yip’s sister team, Theodore Racing.
Day two sees the top point-scoring Status GP3 driver Alex Fontana graduate to GP2 machinery with 20-year-old Swedish GP2 driver Gustav Malja testing on day three. Gustav scored points on his GP2 debut earlier this year, and has achieved multiple podiums in his maiden Formula Renault 3.5 season.
The team is excited to evaluate all four drivers as it considers its 2016 GP2 line-up.
